WhatsApp & Messaging Policy

This policy applies if you use business communication or messaging functionality that Salon Gurukul may provide as part of its services.

What this policy is for

Salon Gurukul may provide WhatsApp or other business communication functionality as part of its services. This can include messaging, follow-up, reminders, customer communication, review requests, and related automation available through supported services.

This page sets expectations for responsible use. It is not a feature list and does not mean every visitor has access to messaging tools.

Independent platforms

WhatsApp and Meta are independent third-party platforms. Salon Gurukul is not WhatsApp or Meta, is not an official partner unless separately and expressly stated, and does not promise WhatsApp Business API approval or any particular messaging access.

Platform policies, products, and technical requirements can change. You must follow the current applicable WhatsApp/Meta rules for the product you use.

Consent and lawful messaging

You must only message people where you have an appropriate lawful basis and, where required, a valid WhatsApp opt-in or other required consent. You are responsible for the contacts and messaging lists you upload or use.

Do not import or message lists obtained without permission, purchased spam lists, or contacts who have already asked not to be contacted.

Prohibited use

You must not use Salon Gurukul tools or related services for:

  • Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging
  • Harassment, threats, or deceptive messaging
  • Unlawful content or messages that violate applicable law
  • Impersonation or misleading business identity
  • Any attempt to bypass opt-out, rate limits, or platform safeguards

Opt-outs

You must honour opt-out and stop-contact requests promptly. If a person asks not to receive further messages, do not continue messaging them through our tools or related workflows.

Promotional and business-initiated messages

Promotional or marketing communication must follow applicable WhatsApp and Meta requirements. Business-initiated WhatsApp messages may require approved templates, depending on the WhatsApp product and rules that apply at the time.

You are responsible for the wording, offers, and claims in the messages you send to your customers.

Restriction and suspension

Salon Gurukul may restrict, suspend, or end messaging functionality where we reasonably believe there is abuse, a policy violation, fraud, spam, or unlawful use. We may also suspend access if a platform requires it or if continued use would put the service or other users at risk.

Privacy

How Salon Gurukul processes information is described in our Privacy Policy. WhatsApp and Meta process data independently under their own notices. We cannot control that independent processing.
